Abstract
In today's markets, institutional-level trading can be accomplished in an intimidating number of ways. Trading can be divided into steering the initial strategy and tactically managing the execution. Strategy is always prospective and tentative, while tactics are interactive and adaptive to changing situations. This piece suggests a hierarchy of the decisions a trader must consider to determine execution strategy.
